Complaint against lawyer for nonattendance causing interim order.

19-Dec-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hi I am facing a lawsuit in lower court for which I hired a lawyer. On the very first day of hearing my lawyer didn't attend the court and an interim order has been issued by court ,though my lawyer knows about the date of hearing. What procedure I can initiate against my lawyer for nonattendance causing interim order against me. Thanks

How can an interim order be passed on the first day of hearing is not clear to me.You may file a petition with a prayer for setting aside the interim orders on the grounds of some very unavoidable circumstances. For misconduct and breach of your lawyer of his professional duties, you may file a formal complaint in the name of your lawyer before the local Bar council.
Thanks.

Sir
There are various reasons for non-attending . If he had received fees from you and he had not attended the court without any valid reason is ethically wrong. First you can send a letter to him to know what the valid reason for not attending the court.
Has he filed vakalatnama on your behalf in the court. If not, then he is legally liable for anything.
Thanks
