failure in Class 9 does not permanently damage or end a student’s chances of becoming a lawyer. Law colleges in India do not look at Class 9 marks. What really matters is that the student passes Class 10 and 12 from a recognised board and is able to clear the law entrance examinations such as CLAT, AILET, CUET or other university tests.

Hi there, it won't affect your career in Law. All that will matter is your 10th and 12th marks, that too only at the entrance stage (CLAT). Once, you get admission no marks will matter much it'll be just your skills and knowledge that will be considered. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

A Class 9 failure does not bar a career in law. Admissions depend on Class 12 results, entrance exams, and graduation. With improved performance later, it has no legal or professional consequence. Focus ahead.

No. Failing Class 9 does not affect a career in law. Because:- (A) Law eligibility depends on Class 12, not Class 9:- - For 5-year Law Courses (BA LL.B / BBA LL.B / B.Com LL.B) → you need to pass Class 12. - For 3-year LL.B → you need a graduation degree. - Class 9 marks or failure are never asked for in law admissions. (B) Entrance exams don’t consider Class 9 CLAT, AILET, CUET, MH-CET Law, etc. only require: - Class 12 qualification (or appearing) - Minimum percentage as prescribed - Your school history in Class 9 is irrelevant. (C) Bar Council of India (BCI) has no concern with Class 9:- To become an advocate, the requirements are: - A recognized LL.B degree - Enrollment with a State Bar Council - There is no inquiry into school failures. (D) Law firms, courts & judges do not ask about Class 9:- Internships, chambers, law firms, litigation, judiciary exams - Focus on law degree, skills, internships, arguments. No one asks whether you failed Class 9. (E) Many successful lawyers have academic setbacks - Law values: Reasoning, Communication, Consistency, Court craft - One failure at school level has zero legal consequence.

The clear answer is NO. Only the 10th and 12th grades matter for college admissions and job prospects. I have a friend/ colleague who failed 11th grade and is now one of the smartest and hardworking practising lawyers I know.
