If high court is not second appeal court, the answer is affirmative, if not it is not possible by appeal. generally i advice people to be very cautious while approaching supreme court, as a appellate court it is concerned only with question of law and not fact.

Hello,

If you are not satisfied or happy about the judgment given by high court, you have rights to prefer an appeal before supreme court too.

Getting a stay order from the supreme court depends on the cas, judgment and the presentation by your lawyer at supreme court, this cannot be predicted.

You could have furnished some details about the case or judgment so that more proper opinions could have been rendered.
