Can a person check a flat's construction which has been stopped ?

I want to know how can i check a flat's construction permission Bcoz i want to buy a flat which is under construction but i got some rumours that builder had made few extra floors So that work has been stopped And what else i should check before perchance of under construction flat Waiting for rply

Before purchasing a building which is an under construction building there are certain documents which should be verified. As per your query the document which you are looking for is BUILDING/LAYOUT PLAN APPROVAL which is available with the builder as you are looking forward to buy the property then the builder will present the same before you. Thou there are certain other documents which you should verify.
Beware that you are getting agreed to the draft of building/layout plan. Look out for the approved building/layout plan.

Requisite complaint of such breach of trust can be filed before Competent Authority under the 2016 RERA Act and the authority after hearing the same shall decide the punitive measures against the defaulting builder.
