Husband forcefully wants to stay at my parents house

18-Sep-2023 (In Child Custody Law)
I have decided to separate from my husband. Even though I have informed this to him he is not willing to accept it. I am staying at my mothers house. He says he will forcefully come here to stay to be with our 9 month old daughter. Can he do that? I don’t feel safe staying alone with him in a hotel.

hi

in this case you have to file complaint under domestic violence act for restraining orders against your husband restraining him from entering your maternal home

further you can file petition for divorce before the family court by availing grounds of physical and mental cruelty

No he can't force you and even stay with you forcefully without your wish. If he is not willing to divorce you, then in such situation you can file divorce Petition on the ground of cruelty. Also you can file criminal application under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act.
