What is the sanctity of Handwriting Expert in Cheque Bounce cases ?

I was a director in a private limited company. The business stopped after a dispute with the other director.The other director in the company who was having custody of cheque book of the company forged my signatures and issued 2 cheques to himself for huge amounts. The cheques bounced and he filed the referred case. He created a story that he resigned from the company after the dispute and the cheques were given to him against settlement of dispute. He is still a director in the company. The court ordered signature verification from forensic lab of government and it came in my favour. The other director obtained an order from the court that he wants to get the signatures reverified from his own document expert. There is a loss in the company and all the cash has been withdrawn by cheques issued by the other director and this is on record. What is my situation in the case and does the opinion of the private hand writing expert who can be purchased by paying money carry any weight ?
