What action can i take if friend has still not returned money.

i was helped to my friend for 1.5L before 5 month for personal purpose and he gave me blank cheque for that but till time he did not return my money. now what to do pls suggest......
U can deposit cheque in bank and if it gets bounce than u can file a case ofsec 138 in near by court, and further you can talk to the any lawyer who can help u better by seeing the cheque and by asking u some details
