Vendor fills huge amount in blank cheque to get it bounced, what to do

Dear Sir, pls suggest if I have purchased only bills of rm from one of my vendor & to clear the entries gave him blank cheques so that he may deposit the amount himself in our bank & make the transfers in his own account ,.but he filled up huge amounts in the cheques & got them bounced & filed a suite of 138.pls let me know how to proceed & present ourself safe

If you have issued blank check then entire responsibility is yours you should be conscious at the time of issuance of check. It doesn't mean that you have no remedy. But you have prove strictly regarding the purchase of bills and show that the person has cheated you

You can file a civil suit regarding the cheque that have to proove that you gave this cheque without filling up.... and for this you need witnesses in your favour then only can get relief from court .
