Settlement not being honored by the Accused
01-Aug-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
A cheque bounce case was registered and the settlement reached in good faith. The accused, currently on bail, is not honouring the monthly EMI for the last couple of months. Only 1 month is paid that too with delay. My lawyer has the settlement copy and is not reachable since long. Need help.

U hv to engage other advocate, take out the file from court, if u hv case no. Apply for copies from court & after go throughing the contents of the settlement documents, you hv to file an application. Then rest.

Hi... If Both the parties are agreed before the court that they are ready for the settlement and now accused is not paying the amount you can submit the same before the court and request the court to issue warrant against the accused and attach his property .
