Reply to legal notice of cheque bounce case

I have been staying in Hyderabad. 3 months back, an unknown person from other District (which i never visited ) sent me a cheque bounce case through advocate. Now he tried to send me a notice/summons through court muncif, which i refused to receive.
what happens next? Further how should i proceed in this case?

since you have refused the notice, it will be deemed by court that you have received it under general clauses actand courts can proceed to hear the case against you and award exparte decree against you. please engage a lawyer of your choice and contest the case
