my friend cheated me for money.

my friend took money of 100000 from me.for surity he gave a cheque of 100000.if i file a case will i get my money back.

1) file a cheque bounce case under negotiable instruments act and get your friend to pay you a fine equal to cheque amount in order to avoid going to jail and
2) file a summary suit for money recovery and attach his assets
