Mandatory to send notice before filing case for cheque bounce

It is compulsory to send notice before filling 138ni but if notice is send to office add which is already vacant by the person then what can b done. Also who all are eligible to accept the notice.

it is compulsory to send notice of cheque bounce to issuer of cheque within 30 days from the date of returning of cheque. even if the office is vacant it dosent make a difference, the limitation of filing case will be calculated from the date mentioned on receipt of registered ad , but it is better to always add as many addresses of that person you know. anyone can accept the notice.

and it always has to be a registered ad only.
