Jurisdiction to file complaint in check bounce case

Recently, I vacated room in Bangalore. Came to Hyderabad. House Owner sent me a check worth 5000/-. He has BOB bank account in Bangalore. I had HDFC account in Bangalore. As I moved to Hyderabad, I submitted check at Hyderabad HDFC branch. The check got bounced twice. Pls tell me, 1) from where should I send notice 2) from where should I file criminal case against him. 3) How much it costs for both separately. 4) How long will it take for case to complete 5) Can I recover all the money back (5000 + bank fine + travel costs to move from hyd to bangalore)

1) you can send notice from hyderabad also.
2) you have to file case in hyderabad where complainant's bank located
3) it depends on the lawyer you engage
4) generally after service of summons it will take 5 to 6 months to complete the case.
