Do you have some proof that your father has signed the cheque under pressure?
If your father will try to stop the payment then a case against your father will be filed for cheque bouncing under Section 138 of the NI Act. A Legal notice will be served upon your father to deposit the requisite amount and to give reply of the Legal notice within a period of 15 days and within 45 days failing to which a case of cheque bouncing will be filed against your father.
