How to withdrew my surety against a fraud person

18-Jun-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
The accused was charged with not returning amount of bounced cheque. He missed consecutive dates & was arrested. I bailed this person out but later found out that he is a fraud. I don't want to take any responsibility now. Wanted to clear a few doubts. 1. Can I withdraw my surety? 2. Only two dates are remaining for the case. If I don't withdraw my surety, will I be liable if the accused doesn't obey Court's order? 3. If the accused doesn't show up for the next date, would a arrest warrant be issued against me also?

1. You can withdraw it by filling an application before the court stating your reasons for withdrawal.
2. You will be liable for the surety amount given to the court.
3. You will be liable only for the amount given as surety and in case you are also not present, then the court may summon you.
