How to take legal action for cheque bounce

13-Jun-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I had given Rs.8 lacs to a person on condition that he will return my money on 15/20 day's intimation to him without any documentation but on a friendly relationships. The person on many occasions, informed me via SMS, WhatsApp messages that he will be able to return my money in short time and not to worry. Finally, he gave me cheques without date and told me that he will inform me whenever fund is available in his account. It appears, that the person will cheat me. Shall I submit the cheques to bank? What other actions can be taken.

You can wait till you believe and love him and add good chance to ruin your claim/case day after day. Or you can stop believing rightnow and jump to action to get your money back by dropping the cheque in the drop box of your bank and see what happens. If nothing happens collect the memo from bank for non payment and request your lawyer to issue a notice demanding the money back. And thereafter the long story begins in the court. But don't you worry, you will get your money back if it was hard earned.
Till then stay happy and take care.

After the cheque has bounced u send a legal notice to the person. If he doesn't reply or ignore after the prescribed time then u can file a case under ni act. Make sure u send the notice first. N wait till he respond or doesnt
