How to proceed for a cheque bouncing case

10-Mar-2025 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I lent 50000 to an acquittance. She gave me a signed blank cheque. She is now refusing to pay back. She also doesn't have balance in her account. What should I do once the cheque bounces from bank?

After a cheque is dishonored, you must issue a legal notice to the accused within one month. The accused will be given 14 days to pay the money back in that legal notice. After that time, you should file a complaint with the jurisdictional magistrate court.
