How can I recover my investment?

I'm from Hyderabad
I had invested in friend's business he is not paying me any profit so I want my money back, so he gave me a cheque which got bounced (cheque belongs to his mom) so how can I recover my money just by filing cheque bounce case or any other process available? I have document(stamp paper) signed by him.
first you need to produce the cheque and account and then get it bones hypnotize notice you need to find out the complete details that investment and you have issued a cheque on your mother's name so that's why you are sending a notice to you and your mother

hi.
you need to file cheque bounce case under 138 NI act and also file summary suit under Order 37 CPC to recover your money.
cheque bounce case is filed only to criminally prosecute your friend whereas in summary suit, you will recover your money
