Hand loan agreement through cheques and non- judicial e-stamp

02-Feb-2025 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have given an amount to the person by taking residence proof, cheques and non- judicial e-stamp bond. If the other person failed to repay and cheques got bounced, can I go through legally and get my money back.

hi yes if he had not paid the amount and if there is outstanding amount to be paid to you then you could file cheque bounce case in court by sending legal notice to him by demanding him to clear tje dues

you can recover money under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (NI Act) 1. Send a Legal Notice under Section 138 of NI Act. If a cheque is dishonored due to insufficient funds or any other reason, send a legal notice to the drawer within 30 days of receiving the bank's dishonor memo. The notice should demand payment within 15 days of receipt. If the drawer pays within this time, the issue is resolved if not paid, file a suit in the court
