Friend not returning the amount given as a loan

SIR M staying at Hyderabad I have given the amount of rupees 1lakh to a person. he said that I will return the amount with in 3 months but now it has completed upto 9months when I was called him he is saying that I will return the money with in 28th nov 2017 after completed that date now he is not responding to any phone calls and message's so I request you please give some suggestions to me. And I have to say one there is no documents to the amount which I have given to him but having call records and message's.

Send a Legal Notice to the person through an advocate demanding the amount. If he returns back your money fine, else file a civil suit for recovery against him on the basis of the evidence in your possession.

Please see wheather amount given to him was through account transfer or through cash you can file 420 and also can file a civil suit basing upon the transactions took place and the books of accounts to be audited and bank transfers will prove the case make sure of those
