Court ordered to pay surety. Can this date be delayed?

Dear Sir, Good Morning.. i have a case under Metropolitian Magistrate court for Cheque Bounce under Section 138 NI. i have completed Recall and court given a date for Rs.5000 Surity and one person along with... as am unable to attend on that date will it can be posponed for 2-3 days???
yes it can be delay surely if you have reason or you can give personal bail bond by saying if you are not able to find any surety with you. in that you can do one more thing by saying in next date that give me one more opportunity to Metropolitian Magistrate.

Have your lawyer move an application for exemption on that day and pray that the court does not issue a warrant in your name. Please attend unless it is a grave medical emergency. Our courts are already clogged up because of the heavy case load.
