Cheque returned-Payment stopped by the drawer

How to proceed ahead? What will b the court fees? Lawyer fees?

Once you had got Memo from your bank that cheque had been dishonored on the said ground. You have to issue legal notice of demand and once he receives the notice you have to wait for fifteen days and after that you have to file case within one month. So far as fees is concern depends on transaction details.

You would need to issue a legal notice within in 30 days from the date of dishonour followed by a cheque dishonour complaint. court fees would be 2% of the cheque amount and the lawyer fees could be either fixed or lump sum confirmation

Hello sir/madam,
After bouncing cheque u have to send notice to other side within 30 days from date of cheque bouncing.
After receiving notice by other side within 15 days he has to pay u, if he fail to pay then after 15 days u have get right to file case under 138 within 30 days.
Court fee is 2% of the bounced cheque.
