Cheque issued by builder bounced. How long before I get the money?

A builder issued a cheque as a partial refund of the amount I paid for a flat. I was given excuses to not present the cheque on the date mentioned on the instrument. However, I presented the cheque before 3 months from the date keeping in mind its validity, so that I can proceed legally. Cheque returned with note "stoppage of payment". Legal notice was issued within 15 days. We have also filed a case u/s 138. Now that he has sold the flat in question to someone else, when our sale agreement is not cancelled. How soon can I get the money back? Will the court order this builder to pay us compensation? Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Hindi situation you can file for recovery suit either if you that builder registered in error means you can file a complaint on the best of Recombinant ko toolfast record for order for compensation in recovery of amount if they did not registered then you can go for the consumer complaint either you will suit for recovery

The cheque bounce is for punishment, the court may award compensation, but you proper to file a complaint before Rera, so that you can get back your money soon. You will get only cheque anount plus 20 percent as penalty. If you wish to get entire cheque amount with interest etc then you have to approach Consumer Court or Civil Court. It is better to attach his other properties.
