Dear client u have to send legal notice within 30 days from cheque bounce date through lawyer for asking money. If he will not repay then have to file case under sec 138 of n i act within 30 days. If this period is lapsed then u can file recovery suit in civil court. For any legal help call me

You have to file a recovery suit under civil law. From the facts stated by you it is clear that the limitation for filing complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act is over. Secondly the validity of cheque is also over. If you can prove offence of cheating you can lodge complaint under section 420 of Indian Penal Code
