Cheque given to landlord got bounced, he filed case. Please advise.

I gave 2 cheque to my shop's land lord. Baithe cheque r bounced . And he filed case against me.

He is directly filed case against you or he given prior notice to you before filling of the case, if he filed direct case against you than case in future cannot successful because as per 141 section prior notice before filling complaint must necessary.

dear, if you have given a cheque for rent and those have been dishonored, So certainly notice under section 138 was served upon you, if you have replied to the notice or not. if time of notice of 15 days is remains then you must reply to that with your grounds, And you think that demand is legal then you should pay the amount within the prescribed period. all depends on facts.
