Cheque from dormant account is under in 138 or 420?

If anyone gives a cheque from dormant account then can I file a case against him?

Even if the Bank account is dormant or closed, the person who issues the cheque from the said account and the cheque bounces, person is responsible for it and a case under section 138 of Negotiable Act can be filed against him by giving prior notice for payment of cheque amount.

hello sir according to your query yes you can file a case according to the negotiable instrument act 1881 section 138 and you can file Indian penal code section 420 406 120 b file a police FIR nearest police station
