first you need to recall nbw issued against you. and you cannot directly go to high court to get stay. you will have to contest the case here before magistrate court and after that session court. for realling nbw and also to contest case kindly contact me. thanks

As per your query, your wife has took cheques forcefully by threatening, if you have any evidence to show the same, you can file petition under section seeking quashing of the case which is pending against you, before that you have take bail by furnishing surety and you have to recall NBW against you.
