as a consumer, what is the procedure to be followed in case of a cheque bounce. also, what is the time frame of the case to be resolved.
from the date of cheque Bounce as well as of returning memo legal notice should be send within 30 days and after that ok should be filed within 45 days of the date the notice has been delivered to the accused

Hi,
Incase the cheque is bounced, you have to issue a legal notice to the accused person within 15 days from the date of knowledge.
Thereafter on expiry of 15 days if you do not receive any reply, you may initiate a legal case.
