Can I put a cheque bounce case

22-Aug-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
Sir, I had to receive 15lakhs from one person. He had given me the cheques, which had bounced in 2017. But since he assured of paying back...I didnot file a case. Now it's already been 2years 2months. Can I still file a case. Will it help me to get my money back

You must present the cheque again and create a new cause of action to file a cheque bounce case. The limitation for cheque bounce case is 1 month but unfortunately you have not taken action. or you must file a money recovery suit to realise. You can contact me i will make you get your dues.

If the cheques are dated in the year 2017, then you can't file a case against the person who has issued the cheque. if the dates are not mentioned then you can present the cheque.
It may put the pressure on the accused to pay you and resolve the dispute
