Can a son of land owner claim the land
14-Feb-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
A land was purchased in the name of younger brother before 1956 in Bihar and land was distributed equally among the brothers. But son of land owner claiming the land. What is the rule?
the property was sold to your younger brother. now it was you responsibility to inquire into the nature of the property, if the property in question is of ancestral nature then, the son of the land owner can claim the land however, he will be barred by the limitation act. And if the property was self acquired the son has no right to claim the property.

Your query is not as simple as you have put it. To arrive at a proper conclusion, We need to go through the recitals of the original sale deed of 1956 and the deed through which the land was distributed among the brothers.
