Can a person get bail twice for the same offence

My friend got bail u/s. 138 of NI Act almost two years ago. After that he didnt serve the dates in court so again he got the summon for nbw .So does he get the bail second time in the same offence from the same court?
Since Bail is not barred by the doctrine of resjudicata, hence your friend may rightly apply for bail for the second time. However, while doing so he must disclose cogent reasons as to why he was absent in the proceedings on several occasions.
