Can a case withdrawn in appeal stage in session court

Sir there is a case on me in argument stage in jmfc sonipat. If I m convicted and I apeal in the higher court against the verdict. In the mean time if we reach a concent of settlement can the case be withdrawn and the conviction be cleared from the lower court.

Yes, the case can be settled even during the course of the appeal filed against conviction. the Sessions Court can levy some extra monetary fine to the tune of 10% of the cheque amount in compliance of the order of the Honorable Supreme Court. Yes, the conviction cab be set-aside.

This can not be done as we have to get it quashed in hon’ble high court u/s 482 and then it can be withdrawn if the concerned person is convicted. Kindly take proper support from lawyer and then do the settlement.

if before pronouncement of judgment you compromise no problem, if once you are sentenced then you arive compromise in that case an appeal have to be filed. and in that appeal the offence will be compounded
