Builder saying will return money once other party pay what to do

All the cheque bounce and the dates also gone. the builder saying that I will pay your all the money but in further dates when the other party pay the money. What should I do ?
It is suggested to please send 138 notice within limitation period as you have already deposited the cheque and it got dishonoured. If you want to recover the cheque amount you should send the builder demand notice u/s. 138 of N.IAct.
You can also filed cheating cases against the builder to the police authority.

Already you have lost your one remedy by not taking action against bounce d cheque and accordingly time expired. If builder continue excuses likewise you will also loose time to file suit or consumer complaint. If you believe firmly builder will give you money then wait for some time or else there is no possibility of return of money then, issue legal notice and
take action against builder.
