Blank Cheque given as security. Paid back but person threatens to sue

20-Jun-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
We purchased grocery for a marriage in 2012 and gave my grandfather's blank cheque for the purpose of security. And after that we paid the entire amount by cash and forgot to collect the cheques. My grandfather expired in 2016 almost 9 months ago. And now that person taking the advantage of my died grandfather cheques and blackmailing us to give money otherwise he'll file a suit against us. Please help me. Note grandfather died 9 months ago and he didn't do anything in these 9 months and now he is blackmailing us. Please help as soon as possible

You can file a complainant in police or in court as early as possible before he presented the cheque to bank ...or you can file a declaration suit in civil court regarding the cheque... this is the only remedy u have right now
