Am not aware of positive payment service cheque penalty

In private bank i need to preclose one of my home loan and i issued cheque to that bank now maintained sufficient amount in person account but am not aware of positive payment service (PPS) i didn't provided any information about cheque to my Bank now my cheque as got return ,in this case is that rite impose cheque bounce penalty on me..
Dear Sir,
You have to check with Bankers the reason why the cheque was returned when sufficient amount was kept as balance in your account. This cannot be solved through Emails and WhatsApp messages to the Banker. Better approach personally and solve your problem with the Branch Manager or Higher Authorities.
