Sir we have taken 2 lakh borrow from a person, now that person is died, now his son is demanding money and asking money immediately. If we fail to pay him he is saying he produce cheque to the bank. Now what to do sir. I m an govt. Employee
Have you mentioned date on your cheque ? If not then you are liable to pay that amount otherwise he will produce the same in Bank and if it gets bounce then he will file cheque bouncing case at Magistrate court which is criminal case and you will become accused and arrest warrant may also issued if you fail to do the needful. Pay his money if you have taken by asking some time with him
