Accused not present in court in hearing

I have case filed against cheque bounce of accused.but accused not present in court.ow judge have given next date.i think if he shall not come on next hearing if,what precaution i take before hearing

Once the case is in court it has to proceed as per the format of the case procedure. If the accused is not present when summons is served, the court will issue a warrant on the next date. if after warrant is issued he does not be present, the court will issue a non bailable warrant. On a non bailable warrant, the police will arrest the accused. You cannot take any precautions as such. The court will do its job. Ensure that your advocate takes a good follow up.
