A person has bounced a cheque against us with excess amount.
07-Aug-2024 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
My mother had taken Rs 1lakh from a person and gave signed blank cheque as security.
We have returned him 50000rs and we have the proof of payment.
We only had a balance amount of 50000rs to be given to him but the person has now bounced that blank cheque with Rs3.5 lakhs written on it.
What to do, please someone help and give me advice.
