I can not Home loan repayment .I am first owner of property.
12-Feb-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
Myself and husband taken home loan from SBI bank.i am first owner and he is second owner..
He forced me to take loan due to offer will apply only to my name.on tat situation i cant fight for that I am 7 month pregnant.so I agreed take loan ..
After purchasing home.he left me I went to my mother home for delivery.after 10months my husband not paying emi.property became NPA..
Bank approach me daily regarding EMI..
They are saying tat if they sell property in loss I want to pay that amount.
I want to take care of my child and shelter.
I can't pay that amount .what can I do?
Please suggest me
As you have borrowed the housing loan you are legally bound to repay it to the bank. Please meet the bank officials in person, explain your family situation and seek time for repayment. If you know your husband's address, share it with the bank so that they may follow up with him also as he is a co-borrower.
