Failure to pay an EMI in the repayment of personal loan

I have a question about my personal loan actually I took a loan of 1,60,000/- from a bank I have made 4 EMIs on time but somehow I lost my father now bank peoples saying they served recall notice for me. Regarding this, I spoke with one representative of the bank they said can’t do anything is this a legal matter can u please tell me?
You need to provide the details how many total EMi were there , you paid 4 in time how many were not paid by you so far, how many installments are due and also the what are the terms of legal notice .
Take the above mentioned details to a lawyer and get a reply drafted, also get an application for compromise drafted and send it to bank.
