You can definitely seek recovery of money under several laws available in India. Place of suing the Indian company will depend on city where registered office of Indian Company is situated. Further the invoices of which payment is sought to be recovered should be within 3 years.

Dear Querist, Your Indian trader is a private Limited company. Kindly share its full details. If yes, then you need to file an application in National Company Law Tribunal where the company has its registration office. Did they dispute quality?? Please share invoices and other details.
