I want to retire from the partnership firm and arbitration is there

I want to retire from a partner ship firm which has duration at will and has clause for retirement as well by giving notice and arbitration was invoked by other partner but Arbitrator in between left for personal reason so right now partner has gone to high court for new appointment and i wants to retire from the firm can I do so and how please guide

if its the clause in the agreement then will have to wait for the new arbitrator and after completion of the arbitration process the retirement process can be proceeded....reason the arbitration was not completed

you just have to give notice of retirement and wait for 30 days and post which you can publish in news paper and intimate rof.
you can also appear before high court and inform the court of your intention. if he has gone to appoint an arbitrator then you can go before the arbitrator

Ideally you need to issue notice of your resignation to rest of the partners subject to the contractual conditions for retirement under the partnership deed. Also you need to settle all your dues by finalising financial statements as on date of your retirement. We can discuss the issues in details.
