Hello sir,I will like to know if someone has filed a police complaint for cheque bounce of rs 50 lakhs. Under sec 420 .they are regular business transactions and been doing business with that company for last 3 years.tge police have only taken my statement.when should I apply for pre anticipatory bail as I I don't want to take any chances if police goes ahead and file for for cheating case.will I get anticipatory bail in regular and genuine business transaction all by cheque.please give your valuable advice.thank you

Since the police has called you to record the statement , it is better you apply for anticipatory bail with in couple of days. If police has already registered FIR or they are going to register it now, then they can arrest you at any time after filing of FIR.

Question is little inaccurate Cheque Bounce or 420 are two different things all together. For 420 IPC matter you should file an Anticipatory Bail Application to protect yourself from arrest. Rest information is inadequately shared to comment more. I assume FIR is registered and notice for inquiry is served by police.
