Q: Brawl with local drunkards disturbing the society

Hi friends!nnI need your help with a small issue. Last night I was caught up with a heated issue with a local drunkard group, these are kinda-rich powerful people, who are kinda fighting every fourth day of the month, this time it was my turn. They've made living as hell in the society, keep troubling residents, have fought with almost everyone, everyday alcoholicsKeeping the brawl aside, nI want to know what are my rights in such a situation, nwhat can I do improve the situation?nnPlease forgive if anything seems inappropriate, I'm new to the platform.

Sir, as far as I am able to understand your situation, I would suggest you to take help of other members of the society as well. First maybe someone from the society should politely talk to them, I can understand that is unlikely to have an effect but it is necessary. Then a letter should be sent to them by the mangement of the society. The best thing that you can do is, first make a video of how they are disturbing you and the whole society. Try to make more than one video, so that he can be shown that this is an everyday nuisance. Second you should get a criminal complaint drafted by an Advocate on which there are signatures of all the members of the society. It would be preferable if there are more female signatories. Thereafter the complaint can be sent to the relevant police station.

Q: Right to live at in-laws house

I'm married for 7 years, I stayed at in-laws house with husband for first 3 years, later we both moved to nearby city on rent because of his work. 6 months back his business was collapsed due to gamble and bad habits, and we also had marital issues, so I moved with my parents in the same city, and he moved back to his native city and started doing some other small business. Now he is living with his parents and brother's family in a RENTED house, as their parental home is in renovation and they will shift back in 2 monthsMy husband borrowed some loan 4 years back on that parental house and invested that amount in his business, and in last 4 years I have paid around 7 EMIs of that loan because he was unable to pay. Now that loan is closed as they sold part of their house and repaid the remaining loan amount. nnNow because I paid some EMIs, based on that can I claim living rights in that home, or can I take a stay on renovation until they repay me the EMIs i paid

Yugantar Singh Chauhan, Advocate this side. I read your query and I want to inform you that the same would not be possible because the title of the property is with your husband. The fact that you paid certain EMIs does not mean that the title of the property has been transferred to you or any part of that property transferred in your name . The Bank is only concerned with the repayment of loan, bank is not concerned whether you are paying it or your husband is paying it. If the title of the property that is the property papers are in your husband's name then they will be will be in your in your husband's name only you cannot take any claim and that by by the virtue of the fact that you have made certain payment of certain EMIs.
