Few years ago my father and uncle had distributed their father's land mutually after his death . Now my father wants to construct the house on his own land, by the help of government fund, bill is already passed we also recived money from government. But my uncle is not letting us to do any thing. He is asking for more land , so how can we construct our house ?

whether the distribution made between your father and uncle regarding property is on paper or it's just on the basis of communication orally . if division of property is done on paper then you may proceed legally or else to file a suit for partition .

Q: Refusing to repay loan given by me to my nephew.

Can I recover the amount of Rs. 100000 given as loan to my nephew in 1997? Despite my efforts,he is reluctant to pay back the amount. I have the demand drafts by which he had taken the amount under his signature.

it seems to be a time barred loan. so you can't initiate civil proceedings but you may proceed under criminal law by initiating proceedings under section 420 of Indian penal code. you have to file a criminal complaint for initiating proceedings

Time limit for filing of revision of order of lower court in high court under article 227 of indian constitution?

The time limit for preferring appeal in lower court is 30 days whereas the time limit for preferring appeal in High Court is 90 days from the date of passing of order. However the time taken in collecting certified copy of the order shall be excluded in computing the aforesaid time limit.

heard a news that the lawyar fees changed from 2% to 1% . Is this true?My property market value is 1926000. I paid 129891 by bank chalan for registration stamp and govt fees. I want to know how much ammount i have to pay totally? There is any rules of lawyar fees? Pls let me know 14

You need to pay total amount of Rs21000/- towards legal fees for completion of the registration work inclusive of all departmental expenses . One more thing I would like to inform you once again that there is no such legal rules for lawyers fees for registration of property.

There is no such legal rules for lawyers fees for registration of property. However in general practice lawyers used to charge legal fees ranging from 1% to 2% of market value of property for registration.
