Q: Hindu Succession Act ammendments 2005

Does 2005 ammendment to Hindu Succession act have any impact on undivided property under Dayabhaga law that passed on to 5 surviving sons and wife of a person who died in 1937. The person also had 3 daughters who were all married by 1950 ( 2 were married before 1937). The municpal tax bills are in name of the sons ( or their legal heir). What right to the heirs of the daighters have today?

If property own by husband and wife jointly,after death of husband, husband's mother can claim property rights??

Q: Ex Parte Case & Getting Long Date. Next Date is in Holiday.

I have an Execution Case & Presently it’s an Ex Parte Case.I got Long Date for my Case. My Lawyer Court that, my Case is an Ex Parte Case give short date for that.But every time got Long Date & Next Date is in Holiday.What can I do for these problems?

Q: My property has been locked by local police without any seize notice

I purchased a old house from someone who sold her property to me in Kolkata and moved somewhere else. I did duly register the property in presence of Magistrate and seller, and it was successfully transferred to my name. I also transfer ownership in the Corporation by paying all dues and fulfill all formalities. But few days later a person claims that he paid advance for the same property to the owner and along with local police they locked my property with a padlock forcefully.
