Q: Discontinuation of ONline course of Byju's and stopping of ECS mandate

Dear Sir/Madam,nI had enrolled my child in Byju's online learning course in November 2022. Byju's had put us on an monthly instalment payment schedule for the total course fee of around Rs.60,000/- I had deposited Rs.10000/- as advance with the balance payable in monthly instalments of Rs.4000/-. After just one month of the course, we realized that my daughter is not benefitting much from the course as it was mostly out of school syllabus or syllabus already learnt in school. So, we decided to discontinue the course. However, Byju's were insisting that since we had not cancelled within the 10-day period, they cannot cancel the ECS given by us. nMy daughter had not attended most of the classes in the month of December nor will she attend the classes in future. It is very clear that our child is not going to benefit from the course. Byju's is threatening that they will spoil my CIBIL if they do not receive the payment. nPlease advise what I should do in this case.Thank you,nSunder Raj
