Q: Regarding Caste Certificate Issue

In my husband's caste certificate and leaving certificate the case is mentioned as Hindu Mahar, But now we are Buddhist after Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar mass caste conversion. In my Daughters Caste certificate it is also given as Mahar, but we wanted buddhist on the Caste Certificate of my daughter. In the daughters school, we have given Caste as Buddhist. Does it will create her an issue later, please advise.

Advocate Upendra Rangavajjula answered
Does your daughter want government job using reservation quota? If so, then change to Mahar in the certificate so that she gets benefit of reservation. Buddhist is not a caste. It is a religion. Only Hindus have caste. There is no issue otherwise

Q: Staying at my parent's house after marriage

Hello,I am 32F.My mother in law is a very toxic and narcissist person. She keeps an eye on my every movement from morning using the toilets till sleeping at night. I am not allowed to use washing machine and have to wash my clothes by hand. I don't have any issue in wash clothes by hand, but I am not even given space to hang my clothes to dry. She keeps watch how many times I wash my hands, and if at all I miss washing my hands, she starts arguments. She takes my salary, and I am not even given access to anything in the house. I have involved his aunt who fixed the marriage as well, and they have visited my inlaws and had a discussion regarding their treatments towards me. but inlaws have only blamed me, saying that I don't adjust in that house, I back answer and argue and fight with themIt's been 3 months, and I am staying at my parent's place. My husband hasn't contacted me evenWhat are the chances that my husband will take any legal action as I am staying at my parent's place?

Advocate Upendra Rangavajjula answered
You are not marriage material. You should not have married at all. Get a mutual divorce and move on with your life. File first and get out of the relationship and find someone else. Do you have a job? Are you educated? Did you ever have job?

You need to document all that is happening using video camera or mobile camera. Without proof nobody will believe you. You have not said anything about husband and what he is doing and whether he supports you or your mother in law. Is your father in law alive? More info is needed

Q: Legality of a letter head bond.

I signed a 2-year bond with ₹4,000/month variable pay. After completing the bond, my company offered an appraisal but said I’d get pending variable pay only if I accept the appraisal and sign a 1-year bond. HR claims the pay is performance- and retention-based, and no training costs were incurred by the company. Can they enforce the new bond if I resign after receiving the pay? Am I liable for any bond amount? Can I accept the appraisal, sign the bond, secure the pay, and resign after a month?

Advocate Upendra Rangavajjula answered
On the job training has happened for 2 years. They know that you want to resign in one month after getting the variable pay, that’s why they are asking you to sign bond. They will enforce the bond if you quit before one year

Q: My neighbor is running tiffin service of daily 300+ tiffin

My neighbor is running tiffin service of daily 300+ tiffin in his rented flat. We all members of society are against it as it leads to water scarcity, continue food cooking odor. He also stores 3-4 cylinders in his flat which is next level threat to safety. What can be done to get him removed. We have asked the flat owner to remove his tenant family but he is not taking any action.

Advocate Upendra Rangavajjula answered
Are you ready to provide him alternate employment?...do you have proof of water scarcity?...PMC promises 145L per person per day. how many live in his flat? are they using more water?... have u fixed any water meters for each flat in your society?..everybody stores 2 cylinders in flat... what is your problem with 2 more?...are people coming and going to the flat?..is there excessive lift usage?
