Advocate Umesha R works mostly in areas that are necessary to ensure their rapid and continuing growth which includes Real Estate and Infrastructure, Corporate and Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Intellectual Property and also having good experience in handling litigation and processes of the courts and administrative bodies. He has been working to provide project objectives, allocate work and provide direction to the team members on the assigned project. Umesha takes up the ownership to ensure project objectives are met on a consistent basis. He maintains a strong work ethic and a congenial and healthy working environment on the floor and foster team spirit. He has also drafted Memorandums of Understandings, Joint Development Agreements, Share holders Agreement, Corporate Lease, Sales & Rental Agreement, Services Agreement, Revenue Sharing Agreement, and General Power of Attorney. He was also responsible for finalizing Agreement to sell, Constructions Agreements and Sale Deeds for high-end projects having bungalows, villas, independent Homes, Row Homes.

Advocate Umesha has been actively involved in Docketing, briefing Legal Consultants, attending Court and Arbitration cases. He persuaded parties who are mitigating for rights over properties of progressing Projects for out of court settlement, focusing time line. He has handled Tripartite Agreements & Mortgages of properties of customers and Company and worked as an Arbitrator for Co-Operative Society of Bangalore.

He started practicing as an Advocate, being attached to a Senior counsel Sri G.Lingappa Retd. District and Session Judge, Bangalore, since the day after enrolment. He gained extensive knowledge in Civil Laws Court Practice and Drafting and has also dealt and persuaded matters involving laws related to Contract, Properties and Personal laws, Consumer, Insurance, Banking, Arbitration, Accident Claims and Criminal Laws. He has also gained comprehensive knowledge in Drafting and Conveyances and assisted, conducted and disposed several independent civil matters of all nature matters representing APSRTC and few Insurance companies.

Advocate Umesha has filed Suits for Declarations, Possession, Partition, Injunctions, Specific Performance of Agreements, Mortgage Rights, Easement Rights, Suits for Recovery of Money, Arbitration matters, Suits for Maintenance etc., Consumer Complaints, Labour Court Matters, Land Acquisition Cases, Revenue Matters, Regular Appeals, Miscellaneous Appeals, Execution Petitions, Petitions of all nature. On the Criminal side he has handled cases under IPC, CRPC, Negotiable Instruments Act, etc.

During his tenure as an Advocate well know and recognized as skilled and concise drafter of pleadings, Documents and Arbitration Awards. He drafted Deeds such as Agreements to Sell, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Deed of Licenses, Mortgage Deeds, Gift Deeds, Partnership Deeds, Indemnity Bonds, Promissory Notes, Service Level Agreements, Will etc. Obtaining No Objection Certificates and other necessary permissions in respect of Development of Lands, Apartments, Villas, I T Parks, etc., from concerned Government Authorities, obtaining Land Conversion Orders and permissions from Deputy Commissioner, Assistant commissioner, Tahasildar, Land Records Office, Survey Departments, Grama Panchayath and in other concerned Authorities and obtaining Title Deeds copies, Encumbrances Certificate, Revenue Records and Other Concerned documents from the Sub register Offices & Revenue Departments was another area of practice.

Advocate Vikas enrolled with the Bar Council of Karnataka in 1990. He is a member of the Bar Association of the City Civil Court of Bangalore.
