Q: Want to register my startup and I am a working personnel in a PSU

I am working in a PSU. Being a PSU working outside is not permissible. But my cofounder is unemployed. We want to register our startup. Can I register my startup with my cofounder? If not, what are other options. Please suggest.

As you are working in an Psu you will require permission from your department before entering into any business or office of profit and it will also depend on the kind of start up you are looking to start and its legal structure

Q: Clarification on section 8 of Companies Act

We had set up a Non Profit section 8 company for doing social work in July 2014. Since we had not taken any fund or any financial assistance from any authority and filing legal compliances with Registrar and MCA were very expensive so we did not file our final accounts ,audit and other compliances with the Registrar/Govt authority. Now after three years we find that the Govt is coming up with a condo nation of delay program for such defaulters from 1st January 2018. Can we revive our Section 8 company and if so the procedure for it?

yes you can revive your Section 8 company under the Condination Scheme. It is advisable to get the process started as early as possible as the scheme shall remain in force till 31st March 2018 and procedure and applicability of Scheme depends on case to case. Regards

Dear Sirlottery system or lucky draw business depends on the state in which you are operating as its discretion is with the state government, state like Maharashtra, Punjab has allowed this system but under some regulations

Sir Iottery business is prohibited in most parts of the country, central government doest have the power under this only respective states can provide you license for running a lottery business. Hi, I need to set up a film production & distribution entity in India. Following are my questions: 1) Should I be setting up setting up independent production & distribution entities? 2) If investors are required, what should be the structure of the entity? 3) Which structure is best suited for tax benefits? 4) If foreign investment is required, which structure and which benefits should be availed for tax relief? Sir You can set up a private company as you can issue shares to investors, which they ask for in return of there investment( indian and foreign investment), you will be required to pay GST when you purchase a film from producer as distributor and you can claim the credit upon sale of film to exhibitors.RegardsAdv Tarundeep Singh
